Zoe Saldana (born June 19, 1978) was born to Asalia Saldana & Aridio Saldana in Passaic New Jersey. Her father is Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. Her parents raised her within Queens, New York. Her family went to Dominican Republic at the age of 10, and there they would stay for the rest of seven years. Zoe discovered a love for dance performance while living in Dominican Republic. She started her training in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy and was there to learn ballet as well as other types of dance. It was a fantastic outlet for an enthusiastic, energetic youngster. But it proved to be also a fortunate precursor for the beginning of her professional career. Zoe along with her family and parents relocated into America when she turned seventeen. The young actress developed a passion of dancing and became more interested in theatre. Zoe is not just a star on her own but also earned respect from the likes of Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Keira, Knightley, Ashton Kutcher and Orlando Bloom. The majority of Zoe's co-stars as well as producers believe that sky's not her only limit. In the next episode, Deutch will join forces with the writer Katie Silberman for their second romantic comedy, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch as well as Silberman worked previously together on Netflix's hit Set It Up.
