Anna Paquin has been an actress across Canada as well as New Zealand for over a decade. Born in Winnipeg and born in Wellington Paquin made her acting debut as Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress aged 11 years old, making her the second-youngest winner in Oscar history. The actress played her character groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
